My photo: 

The image above from the internet is displaying Addiction. In this image, there is a table with different bottles of alcohol on it, as well as a shot glass and bottle caps. These items are in the foreground of the image, so that they are in focus and therefore, are the main focal point for the image. However, in the background, although it is blurred, we can see a person passed out on the sofa. As one of the bottles is nearly empty and knocked over, we can assume this person is the one who drank the alcohol and is therefore, passed out drunk and hungover. This photo shows the quantity that an alcoholic drinks, and also how it affects them. 

My photo is very similar. In this image, I have displayed two bottles of alcohol, as well as a knocked over glass of wine. I positioned my camera at the height of the table, so that the bottles and glass were in the foreground of the image, and therefore in focus. This angle also meant that we could see through the glass and see that there is a woman passed out, with her head on the table. Through the glass, we can also see that there are some tablets on the table. This photo is a negative representation of Addiction as it can cause many problems for ones life, as well as those around them, but it can also be fatal. When a person is addicted to something, they will do anything to get that something, and therefore will go through all the extremes to fulfil their needs. This photo represents that addicts will go extremely far for what they want and "need". 

These images are connected because they both show an array of different alcohols in the foreground, and in both images one of the drinks has been knocked over. In both photos there is also a person passed out in the background, and despite being blurry we can still see them. These images depict the negative impacts that addiction can inflict on a person's life, and it can also be fatal, which is shown through my own photo from the mixture of alcohol and pills. Both of the people in each photo are alone, and therefore probably know that they shouldn't be drinking. However, these images depict that addicts will go to the extreme for their needs.
